My Pastry :P

no i am not gonna tell u how to make a pastry…coz i myself dunno how to.. (my cakes are still blunders)

here my pastry is a very simple dish..which requires no preperations…

all it needs is

Ingredients :-

1 packet of Britania Toast

1 packet of Amul butter

n 1 bowl Sugar (if u can kill for sweets) otherwise 1 tablespoon will do

Procedure :-

take a toast, apply butter on it.. (do it according to ur choice n preferences)…

sprinkle Sugar (a lot of Sugar) on it….n last but not the least EAT IT..

its for now the best Quick Fix i have…n its yum…(i even clicked a pic…but its blur…n unfortunately i ate the last toast too…so will post a pic next time )

Hey chaitra … u dare not repeat the same mishtake again .. im NOT A VERY GUD COOK .. sarcasm is in ur blood ?? newayz.. i really dun know how to cook.. what ever it is .. i really njoy cooking i never helped my mom in the kitchen when i was in bhopal.. now i wonder why .. Whenever I don’t eat dinner at the office, I look forward to reaching home and cooking … most of the times with my mom….. on call tellin me what to do next …. so most of the dishes i cook the most are all ready in 5 mins dishes read as.. ready in 5 mins dishes.. that taste great   chaitra ur supposed to post how to make all the south indian dishes start with sambhar yum yum..  hmm… ok so how did this cook blog thingy came up ?? i made tehri yesterday .. tehri ?? pulao but with vegetables..   and chaitra wanted to know how to make it …    so here i go .. .. how to make a 5 mins tehri ? 

Ingredients:

• 1 onion – finely chopped
• 1 tomato – finely chopped
• 1-2 green chilies – finely chopped
• 1 cup soya bean nuggets
• 1/2 cup rice
• 1/2 table spoon oil
• 1/2 spoon dhania Powder (coriander Powder)
• 1/4 spoon red chilli (optional)
• 1/4 spoon turmeric powder
• 1/4 spoon garam masala
• 1/2 spoon jeera (cumin seeds)

 Procedure:

• Take the oil in a pressure cooker; add cumin seeds to it when it gets a lil hot
• Add green chilies and chopped onion when the cumin seeds get golden brown
• Add turmeric powder, dhaniya powder, chilli powder, garam masala
• Add chopped tomato (and vegetables if u  want to) when the onion looks golden brown
• Now add rice and soya nuggets and water
• Add salt to taste
• Close the cooker and cook for 10 mins.

Have ur 5 mins tehri with dahi (yogurt). please tell me if u know a better method.. or if i can do something else..

heehee… i know i know its not that bad either… so here is me..Chaitra and my Bestest Buddy Nidhi starting up this new blog…(ummm for i dunno what)..its Nidhi’s idea and actually we have planned to post abt all the things we can cook (love to cook actually) n we love to eat..

As u can obv assume we both are big time foodies… together in a city we dont leave a single restaurant untouched… being native bhopalis..(i mean she is a native n i have been living there since last 9 years) we just love our city n the culture. All we mannage to do when we r together is chat, gossip, giggle,shop, eat n go around our b’ful city. and we can go abt eating everything from Stuffed Pizzas to Faloodas….

N sumtimes experiments by us are also tolerable n digestable… . Nidhi is a great cook n i ofcourse m a great eater. so dis blog will mainly contain posts by Nidhi and appreciations by me..(as comments) … u will find me drooling mostly… so pls if u dont mind carry a napkin with u.. ( for me… i hope u really dont mind..) ..
